Privacy Statement
The Fourth District Democratic Central Committee (IDP4) is committed to protecting your privacy. Any information collected at this site will not be sold, rented, loaned, traded, leased, or otherwise used in any venues where you have not provided consent.
A more detailed explanation about how we safeguard your personal information is described below. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
External Links:
Our site links to a limited number of other websites. The IDP4 is not responsible for the content or the privacy policies of those respective websites.
E-mail Lists:
The IDP4 maintains a limited number of listservs used to e-mail county party activists and/or area Democrats about upcoming meetings and other special events we feel Democrats may wish to attend. Anyone may unsubscribe from a list at any time by following instructions included at the bottom of the e-mail.
Contact/Volunteer Forms:
In today’s “e-World,” the Democratic Party continually strives to expand online activism and to give voters information they need in a timely manner. As a result, we may periodically ask you to provide information such as your name, address, phone number and e-mail address in efforts to enhance our ability to work with you as a party activist. Any information provided to us will be used only to provide you with timely information regarding events, campaign activities and issues important to you as a politically involved citizen.
Online Contributions:
Federal law requires us to collect and report to the Federal Election Commission the name, mailing address, occupation and employer name of individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year. Although these records are available to the public, they cannot be used by other organizations for fundraising. For additional information, visit the FEC website at http://www.fec.gov. We also make a note of your telephone number and e-mail address, which helps us to contact you if follow-up on your contribution is necessary under Federal election law.
Cookies:
The IDP4 website does not use nor store personal cookies (i.e. none are set specifically by IDP4). Any cookies set as a result of visiting our website would be those set by third-party applications (i.e. Google search functions, Google’s Picasa web albums, etc.), and we cannot and do not access any of that information stored by those websites. Though our hosting server does compile logs about pages most frequently visited, the number of visitors per day and other statistics about traffic flow, these reports do not contain any personal identifiable information.
Our privacy policy may be amended at any time without notice other than the posting of such amendments on this site.
